Class Withdrawals

After the last day to drop a class (first seven days of classes for spring/fall terms) you may still withdraw from a class. You may withdraw at any point until the mid-term date of the class. You withdraw the same way as you would add/drop classes by going to your EKU Direct account. Withdrawn classes will show up on your transcript as a 'W.' In most cases a 'W' will have no negative effect. However, if you accumulate a large number of 'W's on your record it could ultimately impact your ability to continue receiving federal/state financial aid. Graduate schools and employers may consider a large number of 'W's as an indication of indecision or lack of focus.

TIP: To withdraw from a class go to your EKU Direct account > Registration > Add/Drop Classes.
