If you believe that your transfer coursework has not been accepted at EKU according to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) General Education Transfer Agreement, you may file an appeal with the Office of Academic Advising. Details of this policy may be found at:

The content of each appeal is carefully reviewed according to the CPE General Education Transfer Agreement. Appeals must be submitted in writing. They may be submitted to the Transfer Center, Student Services Building Room 129, or mailed to:

In order to facilitate the processing of your appeal, please include the following information in your letter:

  • Name, Address, Telephone number, and student ID number
  • Nature of the appeal
  • Justification for the appeal
  • Verification, if relevant, of information provided in the letter

You will be notified in writing of the decision regarding your appeal within 10 days.
