EPC is a program created to assist students in achieving their professional and personal goals. Participants can expect to receive helpful information throughout the year that assists them in being a successful student. Participants can expect to receive one-on-one assistance from the program staff to help set and obtain educational, career and personal goals. Workshops can help participants gain valuable experience that may assist them in their academic careers as well as their personal lives.

NOVA is an academic support program consisting of a team of friendly, caring and competent professionals and student staff that provides a structured first year to assist with the transition to EKU and to provide academic assistance to meet the individual needs of each learner. Although the NOVA program design focuses very heavily on the first year, learners accepted into NOVA have access to its services throughout their EKU college career.

The SAAS Center provides a core of professional staff members who student-athletes can access for help and guidance at any time. Demanding schedules of student-athletes necessitate that the time spent studying be quality time. Therefore, The SAAS Center takes a preventative approach to academic problems by anticipating busy schedules and sharpening the individual's planning and studying skills.
