Prior to Admission

• Complete EKU's Admissions application at www.eku.edu/futurestudents/.
• Submit a $30 application fee to:

  Office of Admissions
  Eastern Kentucky University
  521 Lancaster Avenue
  Richmond, KY 40475-3102

• Request that your high school send official transcripts to the Admissions Office.
• Have ACT/SAT scores submitted. If you have not already completed the ACT or SAT, contact our Testing Office at 859-622-2928 to schedule.
• Check admission status by going to www.eku.edu/futurestudents/. An acceptance letter will be mailed upon admission.

After Admission

• Once officially admitted, you will receive an orientation packet with instructions on how to register for an orientation session. Orientation is required for all incoming freshmen. Since advising and registration for fall courses is an important part of the orientation session, registering for the earliest possible date is recommended for the widest course selection and availability.
• Visit the First Year Programs website at www.firstyear.eku.edu for important information about orientation, as well as links to the EKU Housing Office, Financial Aid and other University Services.
