Declaring or Changing Majors and Minors

Complete the online Change/Declare/Add Major or Minor through EKU Direct.
1. Log in to EKU Direct
2. Click on Student Services & Financial Aid
3. Choose Registration
4. Choose Change/Declare/Add Major or Minor (undergraduates only)
Review your CARES report online, ten business days after submitting a request, to verify accuracy and obtain the name and contact information of your new advisor.

It is important to make early contact with your department, either before declaring a major, or immediately afterwards, to review your new program requirements.

PLEASE NOTE:

Only students currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree are eligible to declare a minor.
Students in the B.A. General Studies major may not declare a minor.
Students who must complete courses in two or more developmental areas may not declare a minor.
Students with one or no remaining developmental areas may declare a major.
Jump Start students, High School Special Students, Visiting Students, and Non-Degree seeking students may not declare a major.
