Mission

The Office of Academic Advising, a division of the Office of Enrollment Management, is responsible for the administration of the undergraduate advising system at EKU. One of the primary functions of the Academic Advising Office is to provide information to facilitate the advising process and assist faculty who serve as advisors.

The Office of Academic Advising promotes retention and success by collaborating with students to assess and develop meaningful academic plans consistent with their career/life goals and to realize their optimal educational potential.

Purpose

This manual is intended for use in conjunction with Academic Advisor Training sessions offered each semester. Both faculty and professional advisors participate in training. This information is helpful for all of the EKU academic community.
